Mathicorn is an independent, family-made educational game created by Brian Harmon. Questions about this policy or your data? Email [email protected].
If you don't sign in (the default): The game saves coins, medals, and progress only on your own device (in local storage on the web, or the app's storage on a phone). None of it is transmitted to us or anyone else. No account, no email, nothing.
If a parent chooses to turn on Cloud Sync (an optional feature behind a grown-ups area), we collect the minimum needed to back up and sync progress:
We do not collect real names, birthdates, photos, location, contacts, advertising identifiers, or any behavioral/tracking data.
Solely to run the game and, if you enabled it, to back up and synchronize a family's progress across their devices. That's it. We do not profile users, advertise, or build marketing lists.
These providers act on our behalf as data processors; we don't sell or share data with anyone for their own purposes.
The marketing website (these pages you're reading) uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages are read. It's a privacy-first tool: no cookies, no device fingerprinting, and no ability to identify an individual visitor or follow anyone across sites — just an aggregate count of traffic. This applies only to the marketing pages; the game itself has no analytics of any kind. Progress data (coins, medals, practice stats) never leaves your device unless you turn on Cloud Sync, as described above.
Mathicorn is designed to be safe for children and is built with COPPA in mind. Any account is created and controlled by a parent or guardian from a grown-ups area protected by a simple parental gate. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a child beyond a chosen display name and avatar. We never ask children for personal details, and the app contains no ads, no in-app purchases, no social features, and no third-party tracking. A parent can review or delete their family's data at any time (see below).
You're in control:
Connections are encrypted (HTTPS). Synced data is guarded by row-level security rules so one family's data can never be read by another. No login is ever required to play.
If we change how the app handles data, we'll update this page and the "last updated" date above.
